3nd Partners' Meeting

Date: Thursday and Friday, 24 – 25 November 2016
Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
On the 24th November 2016, the 3rd partnership meeting of the Re-CVET project was hosted successfully in Nicosia. Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus (MOEC), ‪‎Enoros Consulting Ltd‬, the Qualifications and Vocational Education and Training Development Center (KPMPC) and a representative of the European Commission (EACEA) discussed the progress of the activities implementation for the current period. The aforementioned discussion focused on the pilot Business Forum conclusions, which was held on the 23rd November in Nicosia, readjusting the relevant Guide and the Quality Code Handbook and focusing on the next steps until the partners' meeting in Vilnius in May 2017.‬

Furthermore, on the 25th November, a short monitoring visit took place in order for the EACEA project manager to provide crucial feedback to the Coordinator as regards to further implementation and financial aspects of the project cycle in view of the Delivery of the Interim Report at the end of the year.

Our main goal is to improve the quality, attractiveness and effectiveness of Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET) in the participating countries, but mainly improving the link with the labour market. The activities which will be implemented will complement the actions and goals of the national strategies for Lifelong Learning 2014-2020 and the ESF.
